1Who We Are

Jargonee is operated by Resonance Labs. Jargonee is a product of Resonance Labs and is not a separate company.

This policy covers Jargonee only. Other Resonance Labs and Klaritee products may operate under their own policies.

Where applicable data protection law requires a controller, Resonance Labs is the controller for personal information collected through Jargonee.

3Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we may receive your email address, name if provided, and authentication information managed through Clerk.

Text submitted for analysis. Text is processed to produce your result and is not written to the Jargonee analysis database.

Jarbee messages. Jarbee conversations are not stored in our database.

Abuse-prevention data. We may store one-way hashes derived from IP addresses to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. Raw IP addresses are not intentionally stored for those controls.

Feedback. Feedback submissions may be stored in Neon together with limited information used to enforce submission limits.

Subscription and billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card number, security code, or bank account details. We retain limited subscription records needed to reconcile access and billing.

Technical information. Hosting and infrastructure providers may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, and error events.

4What We Do Not Do With Your Text

We do not retain submitted analysis text after the request is completed in the Jargonee analysis database.

We do not use submitted analysis text to develop, train, tune, or improve a model. Jargonee's deterministic analyzer does not learn from the text it processes.

We do not sell submitted text, rent it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

5How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate accounts, provide requested analyses, manage subscriptions, process billing through Stripe, operate and secure the service, diagnose faults, communicate account or security notices, and comply with legal obligations.

If you opt in to product or marketing communications, you can use the unsubscribe controls provided with those messages.

6How We Share Information

We use service providers to operate parts of Jargonee, including hosting and infrastructure providers, Neon, Clerk, and Stripe. Those providers process information as necessary to provide their services under their applicable terms.

We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

7How Long We Keep Information

Submitted analysis text. Not retained in the analysis database after the request is completed.

Jarbee conversations. Not stored in our database.

Rate-limit and feedback records. Kept as needed for abuse prevention, review, and operational purposes.

Account and billing records. Kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for billing, legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes.

Technical logs. Kept for a limited period appropriate to operations and security.

8Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing.

You may exercise available rights through account controls we provide or through other privacy contact methods published on jargonee.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, authentication through Clerk, payment processing through Stripe, environment separation, and the architectural decision not to store submitted analysis text in the analysis database.

No system is perfectly secure. If a legally reportable incident affects your information, we will provide notices as required by applicable law.

10Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate Jargonee, keep users signed in, and support account and checkout functions. Clerk and Stripe may set cookies required for their services.

We do not use advertising cookies or cookies for cross-site behavioral profiling.

11Children's Privacy

Jargonee is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users between 13 and 18 may use Jargonee only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required.

12International Users

Jargonee may be accessed from multiple jurisdictions. Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms for cross-border processing.

13Third-Party Links

Jargonee may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and their own policies apply.

14Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the site, account notices, or other reasonable means. The Effective Date reflects the most recent update.

15Privacy Requests

Privacy requests may be submitted through the account controls or other privacy contact methods we make available on jargonee.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
